Arnaldo Trabucco is a professional urologist who recently relocated to Italy. He completed his surgical training in Nebraska, and ran successful private practices in New York City, Arizona, and Nevada before deciding to make the move to Italy because of the benefits for private practitioners in their healthcare system. Trabucco is of Italian descent, and comes from a long line of doctors and healthcare workers, so moving to Italy seemed like a natural choice. Since arriving in 2013, he has traveled throughout the country, sharing his extensive knowledge of the field with his fellow urologists.
Moving abroad can be an extensive process, regardless of where you are from and where you are going. Trabucco had to obtain a license to practice in Italy before practicing. Luckily, he is registered as a diplomat with the American Board of Urology, which he had to obtain a ten-year certification for. For Americans, visas are generally fairly easy to obtain, and they can enter Italy for up to 90 days without one for business or tourism. Upon arrival, Trabucco found that there were many positive benefits to living in Italy. The climate is generally very pleasant, especially in the southern regions of the country, but there are also great places in the Alps to enjoy winter activities like skiing. Italy is also known for its incredible culture, with amazing food, clothing, and art to explore. Arnaldo Trabucco has been very happy to work and live in Italy, sharing his knowledge with his patients there.
